The Netbook Experience Continued

Well, it has been a few months since I purchased my Acer netbook. The more I use it the more I love it! When I first set out to do research on the netbooks that are out there, I found that there were mixed reviews. Some said that the netbook was nothing more than a striped down notebook or laptop computer and was a waste of money. Others were giving great reviews. This was of course confusing but I had to see for my self. I came into some extra money and was at a local store that happen to have the Acer Aspire One netbook for sale. I purchased it and quickly tooky my netbook home.

I was blown away by how small it was and when I got it up and running I was amazed at what it could do. I loaded Microsoft Office 2003 pro onto my netbook and all my other programs that I had on my Acer Aspire 4720z Notebook computer and they all ran without a hitch. So here we are a few months later and I only use my netbook to do all my computing.

The netbook can do more than most think and I believe that this is becoming very apparent from the recent reviews that I have been keeping up on. More and more people are buying netbooks whether they are Acer, HP, Asus etc, people are starting to realize the you really do get a very decent product and a really great price!

Resuming the Acer Aspire One Netbook

Well, it has been a very challenging few weeks. I am recovering from surgery (I had my gull bladder taken out) and I am doing better.

I wanted to get back to my experience with my buddy the netbook (Acer Aspire One). I really enjoy the portability and battery life of this machine. I have so impressed with the capabilities that this netbook has truly become my main computer to handle all that I do in computing.

I will be sharing some screen captures and show how well this buddy of mine really functions as a capable computer. Remember that I am not a gamer and if I want to play a game I break out my son's XBOX.
